Banks TorqueTube and Stinger

There it is, a box of "Jeep Power" :)

Comparing the two.
Here's the reason to upgrade. If your manifold hasn't cracked yet, it probably will. Definite design flaw and the dealer here wouldn't warranty it, so I sunk the dough and went with the best... hopefully.
Another crack along the weld at the bottom.
Tearing it down to get it installed.
Intake manifold, contrary to what the exhaust shop told me, you do not need to take out the injectors to remove or install the intake manifold.

Stinger set-up.

So shiny that I can see my reflection.
After speaking with a couple guys at different exhaust shops, I decided to keep the stock catalytic converter and headpipe. Original plans were to nix the cat and straight-pipe it back to the muffler, but it sounds like that would wreak too much havoc on the ODBII system and the engine wouldn't run right. The other problem was that none of the muffler shops could match the stainless with mandrel bent tubing and the stock stuff is supposedly double-wall stainless. Oh well, it's fun to learn all this...
I'm not sure how long that thing is going to stay shiny and straight.
Hard to see the header under there, but it's there.

Started it up and it sounds really good. Has a nice low tone and definitely does not sound like a typical Jeep anymore. Can't wait until the flat skid gets here so we can get it all put back together and test it out.
